Crystal (Xiaoyue) Zhou

I'm a software engineer and systems researcher who likes digging into the hard parts of making machine-learning systems fast. I earned my M.Eng. in Computer Science at Cornell Tech and my B.CS at the University of Waterloo.

I've been lucky to collaborate with the Terminal-Bench team at Stanford on the Harbor adapters project, and with Prof. Gupta at Cornell on profiling the efficiency of agentic systems. Above all, I believe in the power of open source.

Outside of work, you'll find me volunteering at animal shelters, skiing, hiking, and seeking out good food wherever I go.
